I was commissioned to create a piece of art for a lightbox above an attic door. The attic had been used in the 1960s to store dresses, hanging on a yellow washing line plus rock climbing equipment and eventually turned into a bedroom. I used the original tissue dress patterns to create origami dresses in the corrrect style and used watercolour to paint designs inspired by rock climbing routes, wall paper used in the attic and a red admiral butterfly that always appeared in the attic each spring.
